Kydex is an acrylic-polyvinyl chloride composite designed for thermoforming, and kydex combines the properties of both acrylic and polyvinyl chloride components.
From acrylic, kydex gets rigidity and formability.
PVC, toughness, chemical resistance and good interior finish ratings.
The qualities of Kydex that justify its use in the manufacture of holsters and knife cases and accessories:
